I saw these on Wired Magazine...
Remember this ground breaking SuperBowl commercial? With Apple's draconian policies regarding iPods/iPhones working only with iTunes - imho they are more closed and more 1984esqe than MS. Consider Jobs on the stage pacing back and forth in his black turtleneck...
Passionate Apples fans - my apologies if you're offended - it's nothing personal, my wife will vouch, I've spent hours at the Apple store trying to switch sides and I have not been convinced.
This one is obviously the inspiration for Peter Jackson.
OK, you ever hear of auto-save and undo? I've been on a PC since 1983 and have never lost a document as described. And you Apple fans out there, please explain what it is about an Apple that prevents a paper from being erased presumably from user error - the most likely cause per Hakim's Razor.
I love the guy doing the sound as he reloads his shotgun!
I'll admit I have the plug-in Atari system (can it be called that?) with Pole Position - it's cool. However, I have no skid marks on my soul...
Wow, this was probably thought to be so visionary and futuristic, and pretty much everything mentioned we have now. I work from home and frequently hold Webinars, many of us have toll tags, and movie on demand is here. Even from the internet with iTunes and Netflix. What does the future hold? I need to figure it out fast in order to get the business plan in place, find my funding, and get rich.
For those wanting a Commodore emulator - go here - http://www.c64.com/ - they have Donkey Kong!
Burger Time was great! Although it never helped launch my career in fast food.
